Types
I have three kinds of art that I will do for a request.
Pencil Linework
This is a raw sketch, with smudges and erasure marks and all that. It’ll be cleaned up within reason and a few shading marks made to give it some depth.
I can usually do a piece like this in 1 to 3 working days.
Clean Ink (on marker paper)
I’ll take the sketch, place it on a backlight, and trace it onto high quality marker paper. I’ll be able to correct any mistakes I might see, so there’ll be an opportunity for feedback and adjustment.
I’ll then cleanly ink all the lines and erase any pencil marks to give a good, clean line piece.
I can usually do a piece like this in 1 to 3 working days (same as sketch, just with a bit of extra time to trace and ink).
Fully Rendered (with copic markers)
I’ll take the inked piece and then render it with copic markers.
I can usually do a piece like this in one or two working weeks, though in this example I was able to finish this piece over a hyper-focused weekend (Friday night through Monday morning).

Who can make a request?
Mutual friends only. If I know you, and you know me, and we are friends, feel free.
How often will you take requests?
As fancy strikes me. Ideally rarely.
How will you take requests?

If you are a mutual, then you’ll send me a DM on bluesky with your idea, some references, and what kind of request you’d like to make (see above).
It’s not first come first serve. I’ll keep the announcement “open” and then select 1 (ONE) idea to run with. If I don’t select you, I’ll let you know. 🙂 It’s only polite.
What can I request?
I don’t have any strict limits, but that’s mostly because I haven’t established my artistic boundaries yet. Any idea you have is open to discussion and I reserve the right to say no if I feel like I can’t do it or prefer not to do it.
Main thing is that everyone involved must be 18+, they must consent to being drawn (say, for example, you want a character drawn that isn’t your own), and I need to see proof of consent.
Why requests? Why not commissions?
I don’t need the money, nor do I need the complication of reporting additional income on my taxes right now. I prefer to do this for the love of art, to get me out of my comfort zone, to stretch my skills, and to make and give something to my friends.
And for attention. I want attention. PERCEIVE ME.
How long will it take you to complete my request?
I’ve made a note in the types above of how long it takes me to do each type, but art takes as long as it takes and some pieces fight me.
Bear in mind that these are free requests and I reserve the right to take as long as I need (within reason, of course), especially if life gets in the way.
Can I ask for updates?
Of course! I welcome the accountability and I’d enjoy the interaction and the excitement. 🙂
Can I request something NSFW?
Let’s just say no, for now. I may draw NSFW someday, but I prefer to understand and establish my clear boundaries first. Not a complication I need to tackle for now as part of these request openings.
